Spring into a Thriving Summer Garden

  • North Mountain Park Nature Center 620 North Mountain Avenue Ashland, OR, 97520 United States (map)

The most beautiful and bountiful summer gardens start with proper care towards the end winter, followed by a tune up in late spring. Even low maintenance landscapes need a thorough clean up at least once a year and late winter/early spring is the best time to do it. For every plant there is a certain pruning protocol for optimal growth and bloom. Through hands-on demonstrations this class will help answer the most common maintenance questions, helping you build a solid foundation for gardening confidence. Come learn when and how to prune a wide spectrum of plants, along with garden care basics and tips for a great start to a successful growing season.
